Live Online Session Venues

Sessions are conducted wherever the presenter wishes.  There is for example a Second Life strand, and some presenters have expressed an interest in WiZiQ, and there will be at least one session at http://tappedin.org

By default (if no particular venue is declared by the presenter) sessions will be held in Elluminate.  Once again this year we are grateful to Learning Times for providing us these spaces at no cost to those who benefit most directly from it (us :-).

Simulcast

Webcasting Team from http://worldbridges.net  will be simulcasting audio and provide text chat on http://webheadsinaction.org/chat  We will focus on simulcasting as many events as possible that are NOT Elluminate sessions, mainly the SL events.

Regarding table alignment on our schedule pages, Nina offered to write PBWiki (now PBWorks) about how normal HTML code doesn't vertically align text in these cells. Almost immediately (half an hour?) she got a response, as indicated here:

Please help. I can't figure out how to raise text to the top of a table
cell at http://wiaoc09.pbworks.com/May24. Photos align correctly and some
other people seem to have mastered the trick but I can't do it. Thanks!

Hello Nina,

Unfortunately, there's no trick, this is actually a known issue that we will be working on to correct. The issue affects text that appears in a table to the right of an image (e.g., an image is placed into the first cell, and text is placed in the second cell).

I've added your comments to the bug report, so that we can contact you after we've resolved the issue.

Is there anything else that I can help you with?
